#27-ESSENTIAL OILS
Hey everyone!
The days are getting longer, the sun is more present and the flowers are starting to color the gardens. I hope you can enjoy the blessings of spring.
Nature offers us many wonders. And since I don't neglect any avenue for healing, I tried mixtures of essential oils and vegetable oils to apply to the pericardium region (where it hurts the most).
Here is what I tested.
1/ HE LEMON EUCALYPTUS
Ingredients:
HE Lemon Eucalyptus 3 drops
HV Castor 10 drops
Put the ingredients in the palm of your hand and mix them before applying them to the skin and massage lightly (in the evening before bedtime).
I applied this treatment for several months. Sadly, I haven't noticed any improvement. At best, it allowed me to keep mosquitoes away ;-)
One person is not the other, and perhaps this will have healing effects on someone else.
2/ HE TEA TREE AND RAVINTSARA
Ingredients:
HECT Thyme Thymol 2ml
HE Clove 3ml
HE Tea Tree 5ml
HE Ravintsara 5ml
HE Sage Officinalis 3ml
HV Apricot Kernels 10 ml
Apply 10 drops to the skin, 3 times a day, and massage lightly.
I started this treatment a few weeks ago for a period of 3 months. The first few days, the smell was very strong and difficult to bear. But after a few days, I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.
I have not completed the treatment, which was prescribed to me by my doctor, but my feeling is that there is an improvement, either a painkiller effect or an anti-inflammatory effect. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it's worth a try.
UPDATE (OCTOBER 2022)
I was able to take this treatment for about 8 weeks before I started having some sort of allergic reaction. My skin was getting red and sore. I stopped for several days, but when I tried again, my skin reacted very quickly. So I could not continue this treatment. But I think it was effective and interesting, as I said, either as a painkiller effect or as an anti-inflammatory effect.
Allergic reactions are common with me. I react very badly to salicylates, for example. Too bad for me, but maybe it will work for someone else.
Instead of 3 times a day, it is probably possible to apply it once or twice a day to reap the benefits without side effects.
I applied the drops of essential oils where it hurts, closer to the pericardium. But my doctor told me that they can also be applied elsewhere on the body, where the skin is less sensitive. For example, under the soles of the feet. It passes into the blood with a painkiller and/or anti-inflammatory effect.
I continue massages with a Bepanthol cream which is quite effective for the regeneration of tissues, and the massage helps to reduce certain pains, just like the exercises that I explained in the blog post WEIRD SOUNDS.
KEEP FIGHTING!
Pericordially yours,
Vali
