#69-SOD AND PQQ
Hey everyone!
It's been a while since I last added a new post on the blog.
I'm always trying new things, but before telling you about them, I prefer to let some time pass in order to have enough perspective.
I started working again a year and a half ago, and the main difficulty was overcoming the fatigue that remains and is very disabling. I have to be able to hold on, concentrate and produce quality intellectual work. Morally, it's also a challenge to no longer be the same person. That former "me" capable of chaining 2 and a half hours of travel, 8 or 9 hours of work, and running 8 km during the evening.
Glutathione and pregnenolone helped me regain energy. But it was still not enough.
I then added SOD and PQQ which are substances that help with brain function.
It is important to know that a blood test can quantify SOD (superoxide dismutase), but not PQQ (pyrroloquinoline quinone). The two seem complementary.
After catastrophic results for SOD, my doctor suggested that I double the doses of SOD and glutathione. From what I understand, SOD leads to a greater "consumption" of glutathione, and it is necessary to increase them simultaneously.
The dosages will be checked every 3 months, hoping to see my condition return to normal in about 6 months. So I hope that by the end of June 2025, I will have rebalanced these values, and above all that I will feel more in shape.
There is already an improvement in my concentration and endurance over a working day, and also to finish the week. In other words, I have fewer headaches and brain fog.
On the other hand, my weekends remain moments of necessary rest and recovery. It is often frustrating not to be able to participate in activities, and to be forced to organize a weekend as energy-efficient as possible to be able to keep up with my job.
My health and my return to a normal life are my top priorities. So long live teleworking, webinars, cinema, and online yoga.
BE GENTLE AND PATIENT WITH YOURSELVES.
Pericordially yours,
Vali
